Bodax pricing and fees disclosures

Wallet Service

At Bodax we offer our USD Virtual Wallet and Hosted Cryptocurrency Virtual Wallet Service free of charge. This simply means we will store your USD and any Bodax supported cryptocurrency at no cost to you whatsoever.  You may transfer your cryptocurrency from your Bodax wallet to a different wallet of your choice, free of charge.

Bodax does however incur and pay network transaction fees, such as miner’s fees, for transactions on cryptocurrency networks (i.e., transfers of cryptocurrency off the Bodax platform). For these transactions, Bodax charges you a fee based on a calculated estimate of the network transaction fees that are anticipated paying for each transaction. In some instances, the fee that Bodax pays may differ from that calculated estimate.  However all fees we charge you will be disclosed upfront at the time of your transaction prior to completing it.

Cryptocurrency Transactions 

When it comes to buying, selling, or converting cryptocurrencies, Bodax may charge fees that are calculated at the time you place your order and could be determined by a combination of factors, including but not limited to the selected payment method, the size of the order, and market conditions (such as volatility and liquidity). The applicable fees will be listed in the trade preview screen which will be shown to you prior to you submitting your transaction, and may vary from other transactions that may seem similar.

Bodax also includes a spread in the price when you buy, sell, or convert cryptocurrencies in order for us to secure a temporary price for trade execution.  We do this to allow you to review the transaction details before you submit your order while keeping the price you selected locked in.

Loan Transactions

If you borrow USD from Bodax or an affiliate of Bodax, and we sell your BTC collateral as we are authorized to do under an applicable loan agreement, we will charge you a flat fee of 2% of the total transaction.

Staking Services

Depending on the type of cryptocurrency asset you hold at Bodax, you may be provided with an  option to “stake” these assets into a third party proof-of-stake network via staking services provided by Bodax. Visit our updated staking information page for more information regarding staking.

You can also review the Bodax User Agreement for terms and conditions that may be applicable.  If you stake your cryptocurrency assets with Bodax, your reward will be determined by the protocols of the applicable network.

Bodax will promptly distribute this reward to you after receipt confirmation by Bodax, minus a 20% commission.
